Ivan Jakovljevic competes on the PPA Tour in men’s singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
Born in Croatia, Ivan moved to the United States in 2018 for professional football. After 23 years on the pitch, he was introduced to pickleball in 2021 while teaching tennis in Tyler, Texas.
Within a couple of months, he became a self-proclaimed pickleball addict. After winning numerous amateur tournaments, he started competing in professional events in 2022, relocated to Texas in 2023, and began playing pickleball full-time.
In his free time, Ivan enjoys spending time with his wife Katie, who he met through pickleball.
